This policy explains which cookies (and similar storage technologies) dews.hu uses, what for, and for how long. For details on how we process data and your rights, see our Privacy Policy .
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work; others we only use with your consent: for statistics and to measure our ads.
Necessary cookies
Needed for the site to work, so they can't be turned off. They store the choice you made in the cookie banner.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cmplz_banner-status | dews.hu (Complianz) | Remembers whether you've already made a choice in the cookie banner. | 365 days |
| cmplz_functional, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_marketing | dews.hu (Complianz) | Stores what you allowed, per category. | 365 days |
| cmplz_policy_id | dews.hu (Complianz) | The version of the cookie policy you gave consent to. | 365 days |
| cmplz_consented_services | dews.hu (Complianz) | Consent given per service (currently empty). | 365 days |
| cmplz_user_data | dews.hu (Complianz) | Region data needed to display the cookie banner. This isn't a cookie: it's kept in the browser's session storage. | Until you close the browser |
The contact form and the login are protected against spam and automated (bot) submissions by Cloudflare Turnstile. It doesn't set cookies on dews.hu; you can read how it works in our Privacy Policy.
Statistics cookies
We only use them if you allow the Statistics category in the cookie banner. They show how visitors use the site, for example which pages they view and where they come from. We look at the data in aggregate, not per person.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) | Distinguishes visitors. | 2 years |
| _ga_93Y5FQ9RLN | Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) | Stores the state of the visit session. | 2 years |
Marketing cookies
We only use them if you allow the Marketing category in the cookie banner. They're needed to measure how well our Google Ads perform, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited us before.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.) | Measures quote requests after a click on our ads (conversion tracking). | 90 days |
Statistics and marketing cookies are managed by Google Tag Manager. Google Tag Manager loads even before you give consent, so it can pass your choice on to Google's services; at that point it doesn't measure anything or set cookies. Google may also process data in the United States; you can read about this in our Privacy Policy.
How can you change your choice?
You can give, change or withdraw your consent at any time: below on this page, or with the “Cookie settings” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
